it's been awhile...

well, i saw darius rucker over a month ago. it was a pretty awesome concert. tomorrow marks the 1 year anniversary of me seeing dierks bentley...another pretty awesome concert. my two year anniversary at martin's is on the 23rd. i think i'm gonna throw up, i was not planning on working there that long.

i love matt nathanson. he's my new favorite. he's technically and indie artist, but he has the one thing that most other indie artists seem to lack. talent...and good clean diction. love it when i can understand what the heck an artist is saying.

i miss ER. it's only been gone a week and it already feels like half a lifetime.

i'm ready to be done with high school.

i was just sittin' here...remembering all the fun times i've had in high school.

• remember when we would play 'chapsticks' in flex freshman year because we didn't have any spoons?
• remember when mr. cockman dressed up as a nun for halloween one year and it was without a doubt, one the most disturbing things i've ever seen?
• remember when katie roske would sneak mt. dew into study hall and i almost died when i choked on it?
• remember when rassler caught us playing cards in study hall and katie roske laid in the middle of our circle and told him we were studying when he asked us what was going on?
• remember when we played hungry, hungry hippo's in study hall and had to stop playing because it was too noisy and we were all laughing too hard to breathe?
• remember when stephen started crying while he was watching the english patient in study hall and none of us knew what to do, so we just kinda ignored him until i made the mistake of asking him why he was watching the credits ("to pay respect to the people who made this beautiful movie!")?
• remember when i brought enchanted to watch while starlights was doing corp. tour and we talked using princess hands for the rest of year?
• remember when jazmyn yelled at me for standing up for someone, while she wore a shirt that said jesus rocks?
• remember when mcclane threatened us with detentions for leaving lunch early almost every day?
• remember when herr bryant told courtney she could bring black forest cake for oktoberfest as long as she didn't put the "special sauce" in the frosting, but she did and he ate like 4 pieces and couldn't believe how good the cake tasted?
• remember when we watched the great gatsby in american lit. and almost threw up when myrtle stuck her nasty bleeding hand in her mouth?
• remember when i watched the last of the mohicans and wrote a paper about it for extra credit, and then forgot it on my desk at home the day it was due?
• remember when i went to the indiana state prison on a field trip and had to stand right next to an inmate?
• remember when we got an a+ on a us history project that i totally threw together the night before it was due and it didn't have all the required information on there...and then to find out that we were the only group in all of his classes to get an a?
• remember when modlin almost killed me by pulling on the hood of my sweatshirt?
• remember when carson told me that if i got martin's to sell frosted honey buns he would give me extra credit, and then he never did?

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots have come back from injuries before, winning three Super Bowls and reaching a fourth despite losing Rodney Harrison, Richard Seymour, Junior Seau and Drew Bledsoe. Now they will try to do it without Tom Brady. The 2007 NFL Most Valuable Player will miss the entire '08 season with a left knee injury that needs surgery, the team said Monday. That leaves the Patriots without one of the game's great quarterbacks and severely damages their hopes of a return trip to the Super Bowl. Coach Bill Belichick would not say what the injury is, but the play, Brady's reaction and the prognosis all point toward a torn anterior cruciate ligament. "As a team we all just have to do our jobs. That really doesn't change,'' Belichick said Monday, a day after Brady's knee collapsed under him when he was hit by Chiefs safety Bernard Pollard in a 17-10 victory over Kansas City.

why does that make my heart all warm and fuzzy? i will say this, tom brady is a great quarterback...but a horrible human being. something about dumping your pregnant girlfriend.

anyway...started school last wednesday. i don't like this whole running all over the world to get to my classes in this new building. i'm also not a fan of this waking up in the morning business. they took away open study hall. i'm planning on punching the school board in the face for that one.
